Agia Marina

Agia Marina is a small village with one of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegina. During summer its central road is full of life with lots of stores. It is a place that both tourists from all over the world as well as Greeks choose to spend their holidays. The beach of Aghia Marina is the longest beach of the island. One part of it is organized and just after that lays a great part of free beach as well as a traditional small port for small fishing boats. In the small hill on top of the port you can see the little church of Aghia Marina. If you go up almost 30 steps you will have a great view of the gulf of Ag. Marina and the village, as well as the small port on the other side of the village where small boats come from Piraeus. The beach is famous for its golden sand and very shallow sea is ideal for children as well as adults. The village has lots of taverns, bars and generally many choices for amusement.
